Teacher Show and Tell

My name is Mrs. Garrant and it is my 12th year teaching kindergarten.  The best thing about teaching kindergarten is building a community of young learners and I am really looking forward to a new year.  Like most kindergarten teachers, I enjoy singing, dancing, arts and crafts, giving hugs, and teaching all subject areas. :)

When I am not teaching, I love to spend time with my family and friends.  Mr. Garrant and I enjoy riding our bikes and spending time at the beach.  I also enjoy being outdoors and working on all sorts of arts and crafts activities.  We have one cat, Salem, who seem to show up a lot in my daily writing lessons.  We also have two young sons who keep us BUSY!
